【纬度新闻网】据中国央视新闻报道，缅甸国家管理委员会新闻信息组表示，当地时间2月20日上午，缅方在泰国湄索地区移交200名来自妙瓦底电诈园区的中国籍人员。
根据相关人员供词及初步调查，其中多数人员为人口贩卖受害者，被迫参与了电诈、网赌等违法犯罪行为。缅甸政府妥善安置相关人员并将其遣返移交回原籍国。缅甸积极配合周边邻国，开展联合行动严厉打击妙瓦底电诈园区电诈、网赌等违法行为，将根据法律规定有序开展非法入境人员遣返移交工作，同时进一步解救人口贩卖受害者。
20日上午，一架中方包机降落在泰缅边境泰国一侧的湄索机场，接回从缅甸诈骗园区被遣返的中国籍人员。首批被遣返人员登机后，中方第一架包机已飞离机场。
除首架包机外，后续还将有多架包机陆续抵达湄索机场，继续将被遣返人员接回国内。
